To celebrate Topo Chico’s 125th anniversary and bring our consumers in the US closer to the brand heritage and legacy, we developed an anniversary pack with an AR experience.

We used the brand archives to bring 6 historic labels and vintage ads back to life. Multi-packs included bottles with labels from 1895, 1912, 1926, 1943, 1986 and 2015 (Current).

We also developed an AR component to each label for consumers to discover a bit out each era.

 

A QR code leads our consumers to a hot site with image recognition and AR capabilities so no app download is necessary.

The scanner identifies the label and generates an AR frame where content from each era is displayed.

The True to the Source concept is the overarching idea behind this campaign. This is an expression of the products intrinsics (bottled at source outside Monterrey, México) and the brand authenticity our consumers relate to.
